Good Morning List, Got a problem I need solved. I have three Joseph Ricketson's in my files. # 1 m. Dora Ann Griffis b. 28 Jan. 1855, d/o Kindred. No dates on Joseph. Who are his parents and birth date? #2 m. Serena ??? no dates on either. Joseph, s/o Timothy. Who is Serena and when was this Joseph born? #3 m. Rachel Gillis, d/o Angus. Joseph b. 1828, s/o Allen Carver Ricketson. Does any one have any dates on Rachel, siblings, etc. Thanks for any help on these. Joyce

Joyce, I gleaned part of this from the book on the Paulk Family and from Folks Huxford's books: Joseph Ricketson, son of Timothy and Bathsheba (Wilbur or Wilbora?) Ricketson, Jr., was born circa 1774 in Burke County, Georgia. He married Serena Foy July 17, 1806, in Tattnall County, Georgia. [Serena was born in the 1790s in North Carolina.] Their children include Allen; Sarah; Harriet; and John. Joseph died in Oct., 1820, in Montgomery County, Georgia. Serena was living in Ware County, Ga., during the 1830 census. She died circa 1856 in Coffee County, Georgia. I have some information on Sarah, Harriet and John. Clyde
