Looking for information on Lydia Ophelia HERRIN(G) and/or A. C. 'Acey' AKIN. Lydia was the daughter of Owen and Mary Elizabeth (KING) HERRIN. She married A.C. Acey AKIN on December 28, 1892 in Pierce County. Lydia supposedly died c 1898 when my mother-in-law, Lovie Elizabeth AKIN was about 2 years of age. Lovie was then raised by her maternal grandparents, Owen & Mary Elizabeth HERRIN. For some reason Lydia's marriage record shows her name as HERRING (but I think there was lots of confusion about the spelling of the name - even today). I would love to find out anything concerning her death and/or burial. Albert R.
