Steve.... could you have the birthdate wrong for James Pinckney Grantham? I have one in my files. The Rebecca is probably Rebecca GRANGER who was the wife of Jesse GRANTHAM. I show James Pinkney, s/o Jesse & Rebecca.... b 11 Oct 1835; married Mary F. WOOTEN. He appears in the 1860-1880 Jefferson Co, FL census and the 1900 Thomas Co, GA census (wife living with son Wm P. Grantham family). I have family records on these people, which I collected while trying to locate all of my GRANTHAMS. I'll be happy to share info.
