I need to clear up something here.....I am not related (that I know of) to the Byrd family I typed the article about yesterday! I was just trying to help whoever on-line might need that information as I have both the Jeff Davis county books and the cemetery book and I am willing to do look ups as time permits. Sorry if I confused everybody! The author of that piece was a lady by the name of Sue Byrd and it was she who stated that Warren Byrd was her grandfather, not me. I don't know of anyway to contact Sue other than possibly through the Jeff Davis Historical Society or the Chamber of Commerce. Best of luck to all of you in your continued research!
