I'm still looking through the Huxford volumes and came across this: Mr. Spence was living on his farm in the southeastern part of Coffee County when the Civil War came on....He served as Representative from Coffee in 1871-1872, died about 1904 and was buried in the Spence family Cemetery near his home. Anyone ever heard of this cemetery? Melody

Melody, Talking about cemeteries,have you ever been to the one in the pature across from Clyde Kirkland's house?I've been once but it has been such a long time.I was told my grandmother's mom,Sarah Elizabeth Spikes might be buried there.When I went I didn't know that or would have really paid a lot more attention.Remember this is the lady that had my grandmother with Joshua Jr.Kirkland.My grandmother,Lillie Kirkland that married Manning Spivey.(My dad's parents)It may happen that some more of our ancestors could be buried there.If you have been, do you remember or take any notes to who is buried there?
