    2. As a descendant of Kiler and Alice Kirkland, I've seen his name spelled three ways. Cuyler..... Kiler.... Kyler. He did sign his will and I have a copy of that. He signed it K. Kirkland.!<G> His name in the will is spelled Kiler and the name on his slab has long since eroded. Melody This is a different man from Kiler (Cuyler) Kirkland who married his > cousin Alice Kirkland.     3. Melody, Have you tried doing a "rubbing" of the slab? I've seen some graves which appear to be eroded, that upon closer look, letters can be made out. Where is he buried, by the way?
