    3. For those of you interested in seeing where the old settlements were in Coffee County, this site is a wonderful place to look. http://www.cviog.uga.edu/Projects/gainfo/courthouses/coffeeCH.htm You can check out pictures of the old Courthouse, and view small maps from 1856 - 1970. Communities like Feronia, Gully Branch, Paulk, Spalding, Ocmugeeville, Byrds Mill, Shepherd, Phillips Mill, Weston, Darts Mill, Garrant, Sandy Hill, McDew, Brooker, Wilcox, Pickren, Fawn, Fales, Pinebloom, Lotts, Barrows Bluff, and a number of others. They really are interesting! for those of you that have Acrobat Reader, there is a good DOT map from 1998. I was able to find a lot of the cemeteries on there...I just had to enlarge it 200%. Please have fun with these maps. They really are interesting and give you a better idea of where everything was or used to be. You may want to try some of the other counties that your searching for family in. I only looked at Atkinson County and it didn't have a good DOT map on it. Take care, Melody
