Van Davis was the school principal during most of that time, if I recall correctly. I have the school yearbooks if you need his photo. His wife was also a teacher there. I remember he played baseball with the Douglas professional team at times. I think they were called the Douglas Trojans. I had season passes (The Knothole Club). Van was a impressive athlete.
