    3. Hi Melody, I have been reading your posts since your recent visit to Douglas...I saw where you've posted some wills..and wondered if you know that the will on James Carver was probated in error...James Carver of this will who bequeathed his daughter Hulda Minix $100.00 and the remainder to his wife and other children..with son Jesse as executor...did not die until Oct. 4, 1882...married again after wife Sarah Ricketson died to my ggrandmother Rhoda Jane Tucker Carver Chaney and had 5 other children....James Carver and both wives are buried in the Old Field Cemetery behind Salem Baptist Church and are marked...just wondered if you was familiar...I guess Karen didn't want to mess with the pictures.... While these wills may not be your direct line, please take a look at them, they're all pretty interesting and be sure and check out the witnesses signatures. > >So far I've posted Daniel Gaskins, Sr., W. It seems I made a very DUMB mistake which I never could seem to find. Sorry for that. Try it now and let me know if it works for you. > >Melody > > > >
