OBIT: The Coffee County Progress, Thursday, August 24, 1939 Mrs. Sallie Sapp Mrs. Sallie Sapp died Monday after a two weeks illness, death being attributed to a stroke of paralysis. She was 54 years of age and was the wife of Henry Sapp of near Douglas. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Rocky Pond, Rev. Henry Sears officiating. Interment was in the Rocky Pond cemetery. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Sapp is survived by two sons, Lewis and Reason Sapp and a number of other relatives in Coffee county.
