If anyone is interested, I have an article printed in the Coffee County Progress dated Nov. 1913. It states his brother is Rev. W. J. Cribb and his mother-in-law was Mrs. J. G. B. Hancock. I believe this all happened in Turner County GA, near Rebecca. Sherry, let me know if you want this. Lourice

Lourice, Are you working on the same microfilm roll as I am? LOL! Yesterday was a fairly slow day and I began copying from the Coffee County Progress roll beginning in 1813. I've copied obits, mention of deaths and murder and their subsequent trials. I'm only up to 1914. I didn't bother with the Douglas Breeze because I knew that Cath (Fussell Wells) had already pulled the info from that and published a couple of books from those transcriptions. On a side note, I have ordered new microfilm for the library here and it consists of the Broxton newspaper from the 1930s and some of the Atkinson papers. Can't wait to see what's in those. I'll let everyone know when the microfilm arrives and we'll also be getting some new research books in soon. Does anyone know who the Marshall Thomas Holton's parents were? Was there an obit in the paper on him right after this happened?
