Anyone know him? Coffee County Progress ... November 7, 1918 MR. JAMES SPELL DIES Mr. James Spell, age 73, a well known veteran of the Civil War died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W. F. Fouche, last Saturday morning at 10:30. He was well known in Douglas, where he has made his home for some time. He leaves four sons and two daughters, Mrs. Arvon Simmons and Mrs. W. F. Fouche.
