Im hoping someone can help me with the name of Joe Iveys parents. According to census records Joe Ivey and his family listed below were all born in North Carolina. They moved to Pickren in Coffee County Georgia and were living there in the 1900 census record. I believe they had family in Georgia and thats what brought them there, and I would like to connect them to the Ivey's in North Carolina as well as the Iveys in Georgia. Does any of these names sound familiar to anyone ? Any help much appreciated. Joe E. Ivey b. 1846/1847 North Carolina. Christian ? b. 1847/1848 North Carolina.(wife) Children: John G. Ivey b. 1877 Annie M. Ivey b. 1881 Fred Ivey b. 1883 Sallie D. Ivey b. 1886 Charlie B. Ivey b. 1889 ? R. L. Ivey b. 1890 The son named John G. IVey married Lula Gaskins in 1908 in Coffee County. Lula died two yrs later with Typhoid Fever. John married a second time to an Emma Lott in 1911. The daughter named Sallie Ivey married Flanders Gaskin in 1909 in Coffee County. This is all I know so far. Thanks for any help.
