Does anyone have information on Lula Mae Gaskins husband ? His name was John G. Ivey. Lula Mae and John G. married around 1918 in Coffee County Georgia. Lula died two years later in 1920 of Typhoid fever. Lula Mae is buried in Lone Hill Cemetery. I have found that Lula Mae's husband John G. Ivey is an ancestor of mine and would like to know more about his background and what happened to him after Lula Mae died.... I have located many John Iveys in the census, but all are much too close in age to figure out and trace back without more info. I do believe this John G. Ivey was the son of Joe E. Ivey born in the Carolinas but died in Coffee County GA, John also possibly had a brother named Clyde who died in infancy, also buried at Lone Hill.. I do not have any more info on the Ivey folks.
