Obituaries & Death Notices from The Douglas Breeze by Catherine Fussell Wells pg 42 June 17, 1899 We learn that Mr. Mitchell Wright, of this county, who has been sick for a very long time with dropsy, died one day last week. He is well and favorably known here, and was a gallant soldier during the Confederate war. One by one the old soldiers are going home to answer the final roll-call. Same book, pg 63 September 8, 1900 Agreeable to an order of the court of ordinary for said county, will be sold before the court house door, for cash, on the first Tuesday in October 1900, between the legal hours of sale an undivided one half interested of said lot of land containing about 245 acres sold as the property of H. Thanks very much Catherine, Mitchell Wright was my main ancestor from this Wright family. This piece of information sheds alot of light on him and his background that I didnt know. Wish I could come up with some info on his father William. I will keep looking.
