If you have any info on John Spikes or Susie Spikes, please let me know. My grandfather is Elisha Spikes - his father was Mark Spikes. But I do remember my relatives talk about Susan Nipper Spikes. The funeral was well attended by her friends and a lot of schools children marched to the grave yard to see her burial. Rev. Jesse Carver preached her funeral. Aunt Susie was a good woman.
