Surnames: Sutton/ Mixon/Pierce/Adams Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Cc.2ADE/431 Message Board Post: Would like to correspond with anyone doing research on the John SUTTON who married (1) Nancy Mixon and (2) Elizabeth Pierce. He apparently lived in McDonald's Mills (Axson, then Coffee Co). In July 1896 he gave a deposition to a Special Examiner of the Pension Dept for one Elvina Thomas ADAMS of Nassau Co, FL, who had been married to William R. ADAMS who served with John Sutton in the 1836-1838 Seminole Indian Wars. John states he is a "cousin" to this William R. Adams and that is where my interest ties in. Would love to hear from anyone related to this family.
