This obit is in the Coffee County News newspaper that came out today. It states she is the daughter of Fannie Stokes and Elias Music. This Fannie Stokes is the same that married Henry Youngblood, s/o John Youngblood and Mary Tanner (my great grandparents). I had this Nell as the d/o of Henry and Fannie. Never heard that she had been previously been married, anyone else? Is she the only child of Fannie & Elias Music? As she was born 1915, and Henry & Fannie were married c.1915. Douglas, Georgia NELL MUSIC SEARS ANDERSON Mrs. Nell Music Sears Anderson, 88, of Douglas, Ga., passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2005, at her home. Mrs. Anderson, a native of Bacon County, Ga., was born April 10, 1915, the daughter of the late Elias and Fannie Stokes Music. She was the widow of the late Oscar Sears, Sr. and the late D. S. Anderson. Her church membership was at the Friendship Baptist Church in Alma, Ga.. Survivors include: four daughters, Wanell Chaney of Douglas, Ga., Patricia Teston of Nicholls, Ga., Virginia Carter Taylor of Alma, Ga., and Betty Musgrove, Homerville, Ga.; one son, Oscar Sears, Jr., of Waycross, Ga.; three sisters, Denise Burch of Homerville, Ga., Eva Ayers of Jacksonville, Fla., and Etha Propes of Orlando, Fla.; one brother, Edward Youngblood of Jacksonville, Fla.; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren. A son, Kenneth Sears and a daughter, Dorothy Helen Sears preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at Trinity Church near Douglas, Ga., with Floyd Musgrove and Rev. Donnie Joe Rigdon officiating. The Man Kirkland Singers sang. "Long, Long Journey" and "Stroll Over Heaven With You" with Lois Mills, Pianist. Interment followed in the Telmore Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Ware County, Ga.. OBIT: 19 Oct. 1975 Mrs. Fannie Strokes Youngblood Mrs. Fannie Strokes Youngblood, age 80, of 614 Phillips St., Douglas, passed away early Sunday morning, 19 October 1975, in the Bacon County Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Youngblood was a native of Florida, had lived in Douglas for the last 15 years, and was a member of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of Henry Youngblood. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Nell Anderson of Alma, Mrs. Alma Smith of Douglas, Mrs. Dreanice Burch of Waycross, Mrs. Esther Propes of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Eva Cooper of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sons: John Youngblood of Alma, James Edward Youngblood of Jacksonville, Fla., Oswald Youngblood of Anderson, SC., Dan Youngblood of Texas; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Raulerson Strokes of Douglas; three sisters: Mrs. Edith Bennett, Mrs. Elle Bagley, and Mrs. Florence Youngblood, all of Douglas; a brother, Herbert Strokes of Nicholls; 35 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 2 gg-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, 20 October at 2:30 o'clock from Forest Grove Church near Wilsonville with Rev. Dolphas Smith and Rev. Junior Hayes officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jerry Burch, Gary Youngblood, James Michael Youngblood, Danny Carter, DWayne Smith, Lowell Smith, and Garland Smith. Lourice... p228 of the "John the Tanner book".... "Henry YOUNGBLOOD, son of Mary (Tanner) and John Youngblood, was born in Nov 1894. On 9 Sept 1918, he married Fannie (Stokes) MUSIC, d/of Vinnie (Raulson) and Frank Clifford STOKES. Fannie was the sister of Florence Stokes who married Henry's brother, John Wesley YOUNGBLOOD. Fannie STOKES married E. L. MUSIC, 11 Jul 1915. They had only one child, NELL MUSIC. After her lst husb died, Fannie married Henry YOUNGBLOOD> Fannie (Stokes) (Music) Youngblood was b 25 Jan 1895 and died 19 Oct 1975. Henry Youngblood died 17 Feb 1940 of kidney disease. They are both buried in the Forest Grove Cem. In the 1920 cens, the Henry Youngblood family was living in Ware Co. Nell MUSIC, b in 1916 (was Fannie Stokes)'s daughter by her first husband, E. L. MUSIC. Nell Music married (1) Oscar SEARS and (2) ________ Anderson. Nell (Music) & Oscar Sears were parents of the following children: Wanell; Virginia'; Junior; Patsey; Betty; and Kenneth."
