Hi... Thank you all for the help that was provided on Ovida Nettles Gillard.....appreciate all the help that was given.... Stephanie Grohol
Stephanie, Based on your postings to [GACOFFEE], you are apparently researching a lot of folks from Coffee Co., Georgia and vicinity. You would be well served by obtaining a copy of "Survey of Coffee County, Georgia Cemeteries" by Jessie H. Paulk. This works by Paulk, just published in 2002 is in two volumes and is a comprehensive listing of burials in Coffee County up to December 2002. And this works includes genealogical connections for many of the burials listed. These volumes also include travel directions to the locations of every cemetery, including the Hall (Dry Creek) Cemetery that you asked about recently. Mr. Paulk has published many excellent books concerning the genealogies of our Coffee County ancestors. If your library doesn't have Mr. Paulk's books (all of them are available at the Huxford Library in Homerville), nearly all of them may still be purchased. Information concerning Mr. Paulk's books are available via the Web site I maintain for the Huxford Genealogical Society (HGS): http://www.huxford.com/paulk.htm . Membership in the HGS is not required, but highly recommended for serious researchers with ancestors from Wiregrass Georgia. Rob Noles Robert B.
