Yes, it looks like we might be related in more than one way. Harrison, Sr. and Daniel Sturgis's mother Camelia Mariah Chaney (husband Benjamin Sturgis) told me her name was Mariah, but I have found her in all census reports as various forms of Camelia. There seems to be a connection through the Young/Passmore line too (my grandfather William Jacob Young)'s family and my grandmother Ida Sturgis Young's family. My grandmother's first husband was Willie Young's 1st cousin too, Thomas Young. (Tom's mother and father were Archie Young and Eliza Arburthnot). Tom Young was my Uncle Edison's father, Willie was the father of Mom and her three sibilings. So, Mom's 1/2 brother is also her second cousin or something confusing like that. Anyway.......... I'd love to compare notes and find some photos if possible. Granny didn't have any photos from her father's generation, much less her grandmother & grandfather. I look forward to hearing from you.
