You can also check the Satilla Regional Library in Douglas for that same information on the Lotts of Wiregrass Georgia, a book by Jessie Paulk. That is where I got a lot of my information. One thing though, it seems that the very first Lott he mentions, John, is possibly the same as his son, John. The dates are rough and it seems that they married the same woman??? Just a thought, but the rest of the research is pretty good. gacoffee-request@rootsweb.com wrote: Today's Topics: 1. Re: J.W. McCALL & Millie CARVER family (gc-gateway@rootsweb.com) 2. Re: J.W. I haven't had much luck yet either though in finding the father of Hardy Sr. I can tell you that a 37 marker DNA test is underway for a descendant of Juniper Sr's son Travis, and the results should be know in a few weeks. Maybe this will give us some clues as to where to look. I don't know any direct male line descendants of Hardy Jr, but there are probably some out there, who might want to be tested to see if there is a match with Juniper. I also have a copy of "A Lott of Cousins" by Dewel, but it covers mostly those who went to Ala. Paulk's book covers all of the Coffee Co, GA bunch. You could find it listed on Google under Jessie & Delma Paulk's books. Yes, I have been to the Huxford library. In fact, I knew Mr. Huxford personally for years. We worked together on some of my family lines. A wonderful genealogist and publisher. Thanks for your input. on the McCall/Carver family.
