Do you have any Barrs, Sapp, Dale, or Winn surnames. I am trying to tie up loose ends and I can't find a number of people that were supposed to be born and raised in that part of Georgia. Any of the above names would be appreciated. Thanks Marlena ----- Original Message ----- From: D. Hello, This weekend I found something I was not expecting on a birth certificate. It puts my search in Georgia. I do not know what area but would you please let me know if you find anything on these names. Ernest Jesse Stroud Beulah Gailey Sonny Stroud ( Ernest Jesse Stroud's Father) Lula Fuller Stroud (Ernest Jessie Stroud's Mother) I think Beulah Gailey died in May of 1942. Ernest Jessie Stroud died in April 13, 1980. I know nothing about Sonny or Lula Fuller Stroud, except that they were Ernest Jessie's parents and born in Georgia. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Lori W. Powell ----- Original Message ----- From: D. There are lots of marriages listed on the Irwin County website.
Lise.... I don't see a record in the marriages in the HISTORY OF IRWIN COUNTY....doesn't mean it didn't take place...perhaps didn't get recorded. Adaline DANIEL (b abt 1858, Coffee Co) must be the daughter of Moses & Martha Ann (HERRIN) DANIEL. Moses is a brother to my 2nd great grandmother Elizabeth DANIEL who married Raiford METTS. I don't have a marriage date for Adaline, however, I have other records on this family if you care to share info. ?Cousin Nancy in AZ ----- Original Message ----- From: <HarSea@aol.com> To: <GACOFFEE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, May 21, 2000 4:17 PM Subject: Re: [GACOFFEE] Clinch Co. Hi Melody, I have been reading your posts since your recent visit to Douglas...I saw where you've posted some wills..and wondered if you know that the will on James Carver was probated in error...James Carver of this will who bequeathed his daughter Hulda Minix $100.00 and the remainder to his wife and other children..with son Jesse as executor...did not die until Oct. 4, 1882...married again after wife Sarah Ricketson died to my ggrandmother Rhoda Jane Tucker Carver Chaney and had 5 other children....James Carver and both wives are buried in the Old Field Cemetery behind Salem Baptist Church and are marked...just wondered if you was familiar...I guess Karen didn't want to mess with the pictures....
