Good luck. Nancy in AZ Nancy, I don't think that's her. If the date I was given is correct, then she must have died in Florida. Code 733 is Cobb County. Codes 001 through 159 are the counties in alphabetical order. Codes 701 through 859 are also the counties in alphabetical order. I got that from the Secretary of State's office. Codes 034 and 734 are used for Coffee County. There are other codes that are used that I have no idea what they are. I couldn't find out their meaning from the Secretary of State's office. They said that maybe they were codes used by another state. Do you have the codes they use for age? If not do you want them? Thanks for the help. Clyde

And, since Molly is usually a nickname for Mary, her name might have been Mary Eulalie Tanner. So now I guess I'm worse off. I still don't know who her parents were and now I'm not even sure of her name!! > > 5. When was Molly born and who were her parents? I was told that she died > > Nov. 16, 1994, in Bacon County. I had a date of birth that was two years after her date of marriage!!! She might have had an obituary in the Savannah Morning News, which would probably tell her age, but their on-line obituaries start with June 1998. I could look up her death certificate on the Georgia Death Certificate Index, which would tell her age, but the Augusta Library is closed for renovations and won't be open for at least two more months. > > 6. The Coffee County Cemetery Book was last published in 1978. Rumor has it that it is being updated and will be available for purchase. A list of people desiring to purchase one is being compiled at the Satilla Regional Library in Douglas. Where is St. Vincent's Hospital? *********Jacksonville, FL************ buried in Wolfpit Cemetery, at > Wesley Chapel Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. [It's location is > between Alma and Nicholls.] Has Wesley Chapel changed from United Methodist to New Congregational Methodist? I think so Clyde. Sorry that I don't have other answers for you. Joyce
Happy Holidays to all. I have several questions and I hope someone can answer some of them. 1. Harrell Grove Church Cemetery, southeast of Douglas. What kind of church is Harrell Grove? 2. In the obituary for Joseph Ashley "Shorty" Tanner, who lived at Nicholls, and died Jan. 30, 1999. The obit said he died at St. Vincent's Hospital. Where is St. Vincent's Hospital? 3. Also is Shorty's obituary, it said he was buried in Wolfpit Cemetery, at Wesley Chapel Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. [It's location is between Alma and Nicholls.] Has Wesley Chapel changed from United Methodist to New Congregational Methodist? 4. Edward D. "E. D." Tanner, the son of Warren Green and Eliza Ann E. (Taylor) Tanner, was born Oct. 14, 1893. He married Molly E. Tanner. I have that they were married Dec. 26, 1914, in Coffee County. Is that marriage date correct? 5. When was Molly born and who were her parents? I was told that she died Nov. 16, 1994, in Bacon County. 6. E. D. died Feb. 15, 1973, in Bacon County. Where are E. D. and Molly buried? Thanks for answers to any of these questions. Clyde
