    2. This is from Anna Ruth and Omer Peterson's 50th wedding anniversary. She made special bookmarks for the occasions, and gave me one. ~~~~~ On this day Oct. 8, 1950 George Washington Hand and Ada Lavenia Music Hand gave their daughter, Anna Ruth Hand in Holy Matrimony to Omer C. Peterson, son of Carlie Peterson and Carrie Cannon Peterson (I have typed this JUST like it is written) It also says, With Gratitude and love we thank you for spending this time of celebration with our Parents and Grandparents Carl, Robin, Aleshia, & Luke Peterson & Valerie P. & Joseph F. Brown Jr. WITH ALL OUR LOVE ANNA RUTH & OMER C. PETERSON 10-7-00 ~~~ On the other side is this: YOU As we grow old, I plan to takes lots of afternoon walks with you in our backyard; But if we should have no backyard garden, I plan to stand with you at our window and watch the suns, and just supposing that we have no window, I hope that we shall look into each others eyes and see reflected all the joys of our yesterdays together. Then as we look toward the last sunset in our lives, our hands will touch and our hearts embrace as we reminisce of the times we overcame the trails of life together. 3. Steve, I have this census record: Census 1870: GA, Coffee Co. PO Homerville, Clinch Co 31st Div. E Date 22-30 Jun 1870. Call #M593. Roll # 144. Page #368, 9. Dwelling #46. Family #46. David Sears 76. Others in Home: Levina 27. Levina was keeping house. She couldn't read or write. He was b NC, she was b GA. Value Personal Property $200., (obtained by me at Federal Archives, Atlanta, GA, Jun 1994) (I thought Levina was probably Granddaughter, daughter of Tobitha Sears & Kindred Griffis. Thank you for the clarification.) But I also have this information: Children of Kindred Griffis and Tobitha Sears: They had 13 children: 1) Lavina, b 1844, m Elias Wright of William. (Listed in 1870 Census, age 27, keeping house for her Grandfather David Sears.) Do you have a copy of the Federal Pension application? Is this the same Lavinia? More mysteries.
