    3. Does anyone know about this family? The Douglas Enterprise ... Wednesday, February 3, 1988 ... Douglas, Coffee Co., GA. A. M. DAY [with picture] A. M. (Bum) Day of Ogden, Utah, and formerly of Douglas, died Sunday night. He was owner of the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Ogden, the firm being operated by his nephew, Ben Hill Day. Mr. Day, 89, was the first southerner named to the Walter Camp All-America football team in 1918 [picture] as a Georgia Tech freshman center. He later transferred and played football at the University of Georgia. Mr. Day who also attended the old Douglas A. & M. School, often returned to Douglas to visit friends and relatives. His remains were cremated and scattered on the Great Salt Lake in Utah. Survivors are: three brothers, Asa L. Day of Florida, John Milton Day of Massachusetts and Joe Day of Denver, Colorado.
