And you know that we are always interested in obits that are from former Coffee and Atkinson residents. they are not always published in the local paper here so unless we hear from other family members (not always the case, is it?), we miss out. For someone who is a relative or someone researching the name, these obits are especially important. Thanks for taking the time to submit this. We really do appreciate it!! Take care, Mel > Thought someone might be interested in her death. Her obituary and a > picture was in the Augusta Chronicle on Sept. 14th. Clyde
Hi Clyde, I'm sorry the system wouldn't take your message. I don't think I use the word implicit either, at least not very often. :) I had to go in and manually submit your message and one from Stephanie, although I haven't seen her message come across yet. Since Rootsweb has moved to a new list management system, not every message has been going through as it should. This is the first time I've seen the "Imlpicit Destination". I checked to see if you were still subscribed and you are. There have been others who were unsubscribed during the move and I've had to resubsribe them. I'm also getting some messages moderated when there's no one set to moderated. (this just means the message won't go to the list until I manually send it, much like yours) Here's some new info for everyone concerning the list: The new list names will be the same gacoffee@rootsweb.com As you can see, the L has now been removed. Our old address was gacoffee-l@rootsweb.com and our new address: gacoffee@rootsweb.com If you have filters, you should set them to allow mail from the list as: gacoffee@rootsweb.com Remember those on the digest mode send their email to the new address of georgia@rootsweb.com Digest numbers will be out of sequence during the change over. And for those members using AOL - there may a temporary delay in receiving list mail (on AOL's end). Please make sure you check your spam folders, if you find any list mail there, then click the THIS IS NOT SPAM button and read your mail in your inbox so the filters will be trained in regard to the new server. Please be patient with me and the list until Rootsweb can get everything to run smoothly gain. Take care, Melody > I tried to send you an obituary of Mrs. Johnnie T. Daniel, born abt 1915, age 12 in the 1930 census....age 2 in the 1920 census.... Ruby, age 8 in 1930 census.... Jessie, age 6 in 1930 census.... Robert, age 2 in 1930 census.... I would appreciate any help in the children...when they were born, when they died..where they died....whom they married....etc.....and thank you anyone for any help.... Hello, Can someone possibly tell me the address of the Broxton City Cemetery? I have looked online, but am unable to find it. Also, does anyone know of an online index to those interred there? Thanks in advance, Anne Johnson (researching Palmer and Knowles families in Broxton, Coffee Co.)
Hello Anne, The Broxton City Cemetery can be reached off US 441 in Broxton, by turning on to George Deen Road for 7/10 of a mile. The burials in the Broxton Cemetery are listed in Vol.#1 of "Survey of Coffee Co., Georgia Cemeteries", by Jessie H. Paulk. You can use the WorldCat search engine on the Huxford GS Web site (www.huxford.com) to find a library near you that has Jessie's Coffee County Cemetery books. There is a set of Jessie's books in the Huxford Library in Homerville. Rob Noles Robert B.
