SUBJECT: Caleb CLARK/Mary MULLINS - 1840 Cobb Co., GA I would love to exchange information with anyone having knowledge of this couple, my gg-grandparents. Caleb was born 1794 in SC, and Mary Polly was born about 1804 in either KY or GA. He drew land in the 1832 Land Lottery and they moved from Hall Co., GA (where they were married in 1828) to Cobb Co. John MULLINS lived next door to them in both Hall Co. and Cobb Co. He was in the War of 1812, and might have had a brother or other close relative by the name of Alford CLARK who married Martha MULLINS and moved to Hancock Co., GA. They had several children born in Cobb Co. We don't know when they left because we can't find them on either the GA or the AL 1850 index, but they were in Randolph and Talladega Co., AL in the 1850's.
