Is anyone researching the Ruff family of Cobb County. Two are buried in the Smyrna City Cemetery (M.V. Ruff and wife). I am doing research on all the Ruff's in GA from 1800-1900-- I believe they all hail from the same family line in Elbert County GA c1805. Would appreciate any family information to help connect the line-- have info to share on Shadrack (Shaderick) Ruff, married c1822 Elbert Co GA, who appears to be the progenitor of many of the later Ruff's I'm finding in GA.
