According to an IGI citation: HICKS, John W married WRIGHT, Emma E Cobb Co GA/3-6-1866 I believe this John HICKS to have been the youngest son of Henry L HICKS and Louvica surname unknown, b ca 1837/GA. I believe it is this couple who show up in the Cobb Co census/1870 next door to the elder HICKS HH as "John W and Emily" with 2 children, Henry age 3, and Kate age 1. Does anyone know who the parents of Emma E WRIGHT were? Also, still looking for clues to the ancestry of Henry L HICKS and Louvica (b ca 1802/VA or SC and 1798/SC, respectively). Believe the Henry HICKS family was in the Kershaw Co SC census/1830, then in Cobb Co GA ca 1835 on. Henry and Louvica and their son Robert and his family are buried in the Willeo Baptist cemetery, Cobb Co. Another son, Acel R HICKS and his wife Mary BARNWELL/BORNWELL went to DeKalb Co AL ca 1865, but John W did not go there. Where did John W and Emily HICKS go after the 1870 Cobb Co census?
