Hello: Would you please look in your Cobb Co GA Deed Book and see if it includes any information on Battle Mayfield (born 1778) or Giles F. Mayfield. They were on the 1850 census in Cobb Co. Giles was listed with his wife Lucretia and their children. Battle, who I beleive is Giles' father, living next door or near by.
