Do you have a listing of any Medlins or Rains' in or around Powder Springs in early to mid 1800s? We have family George W. Rains and Benjamin Medlin. We understand George is buried along side his spouse around Powder Springs. Also, Benjamin Medlin, who was sent to the Civil War but instead his son substituted for him. Can you please tell me how to obtain Civil War information, i.e. payment slips, etc? Thank you in advance. Sue K
