Mayfield and his wife Lucretia lived in Cobb Co before the Civil War.The people who have done lookups for me tell me there is nothing there for those years and the library in Atlanta was burned by invaders during the war. I hope you have better luck than I did. I really want their marriage license and I was told death records are a good way to find more info. Again good luck, Colleen
