Greetings to ALL: I am seeking info on the ancestry of James HILL (b. ca 1818 SC) who m. by ca 1840/SC or GA to Lucinda HICKS/HIX(b. 1825 SC). The family was in Cobb Co, GA by 1841 and appear in Cobb Co. 1850 census with children all b. GA bet 1841 - 1848): Henry Hicks/Hix HILL; Caroline; Elisha; Richard; and Asa. James HILL states his parents were also b in SC and Lucinda's parents also b in SC. I think Lucinda's father was named Henry HICKS/HIX. Thanks for checking! April
