The best bet on newspapers is to call the Atlanta Constitution..........and see how far back they go........they you go to the library and check out on microfilm any and all papers for that time frame starting with about ten years previous, you may find a marriage anouncement that way. Something like this if true, would be head line news, also check out all the obits, maybe the Cobb Co Genealogical Society has records of all the obits starting at a certain time say maybe the late 1800's, it would depend on the society and if they have volunteers who keep track of all the obits in all the newspapers.
