I have been a very long time trying to locate my husband's ggg grandparents in Georgia prior to their arrival in Jackson County, Florida between 1851 and 1854. Recently, I have located what I believe to be a record of their marriage: William Matthus Molsa Miller 16 December 1838 Harris, Georgia As I have found a Harris Woods in Cobb County and a Harris City in Meriwether, I am uncertain which county I should now focus my attention on. Would some kind soul be willing to check both the 1840 and 1850 (if available) census for Cobb County and inform me if this family appears?
