Hello, I am trying to find a marriage record for my Great-grandmother Sarah Frances Riddlespurger. The Riddlespurgers lived in Polk Co. Ga. but it is believed that my great-grandmother's father sent her away to school to get her away from a young man she wished to marry. She may have been sent to a school in Marietta where she would have run away with this young man. I know this sounds confusing and I apologize. The information we have is as follows: Sarah Frances Riddlespurger(spelling sometimes was Riddlesperger) married a Mr. Cohen(other possible spellings Cohn, Coen) between 1870-1873.
