    3. Robert, Of course, we have no court records prior to the end of the war, but the surviving early court dockets are there and easily readable. Or - should I say they were there the last time I went scouring through them for my own family's criminal doings. I've not been to the records room at the Cobb courthouse for so long, nothing may be the same as I remember. It's always an interesting search, however, whether you find your horse thieves or not.
