Several of my family lines - TRIBBLE, MITCHELL, JOHNSON seem to at one time or another lead me to Cobb Co. This is ca 1850. Could someone fill me in as to what may have caused this migration? Also I was told that at one time or another Cobb was part of Cherokee Co? My LEE line was to have come from Cherokee. When looking for records, should I be looking in other counties that once may have been part of Cobb, Cherokee, etc? Clarification would be appreciated. Thank you. Deborah [email protected]
