My father-in-law was Frank Stephens, born 6/6/1907 in Atlanta, GA and died 4/22/1981 in Greenville, SC. He was married to Elizabeth Pack (11/10/1914, died 7/15/1999) on 9/6/1931. Elizabeth told me last year that his "real" name was Thomas, but his discharge papers from W.W.II says Frank. His father was Perry Stephens, born ca1883 and mother was Katie Alexander (birth & death unknown). I found a newspaper article in my mother-in-law's effects that reads: Husband, Wife Killed, 5 Injured In Crash on Bankhead Highway At County Line (Cobb County). It goes on to say that William Perry Stephens, 73 and his wife (This would be his 2nd wife) of Rt. 1, Austell died in the crash and their bodies were taken to Mayes-Ward Funeral Home in Marietta, GA. (The picture looks like the cars are early to mid 1950's) The children of Perry and Katie that I know of is: Nell Stephens Shubrick, b.1905, died 6/4/1988 Frank Stephens (info above) Louise P.
