Green W Duke, age 17, a private with Company G, 50th Tennessee Infantry Regiment, was killed September 13, 1863 near Marietta, Ga. There was a battle near Marietta about that time and some of the casualities were brought to Marietta. Some of the dead are buried in a cemetery in Marietta - I do not believe it was a military cemetery. If anyone knows of the battle and/or the cemetery that has those from Co G 50th Tennessee Infantry, would you please let me know? Floreda
