I have a Jesse Miller and wife Patsy Harrison in my family line who lived in the Pendleton District of South Carolina in the late 1700s and early 1800s. They had a number of children that I haven't attempted to trace. I was only interested in their daughter, Susannah Miller (1788-June 30, 1824). She married William McCollum in 1810 and they removed to Habersham County, Georgia in 1823, where Susannah died in 1824. William and his second wife removed to Walton County, Georgia about 1830-1835. Jesse Miller left a will as follows. Since Susannah was the third daughter, it is quite possible that one of her older brothers was your Ann's husband. I would look for Miller's in Habersham County in 1830 and see if they had children who are in the right age range to be Hugh and Dinah. Will Extract: Jesse Miller. Wife: Patsy Miller.
