Sarah, I don't find any trace of this family in Cobb County. The earliest Burdett(e) marriage recorded in Cobb was in 1903, and there is no listing for a S. or Susan Burdett(e) burial in the Cobb Cemetery volumes. In the 1880 federal census, a Phelix Burdette of the right age was enumerated in Fayette County, Georgia, and by 1900, he and his family were living in Cullman County, Alabama. Sorry I wasn't able to find anything that might help you here. Hopefully someone else on the list will have better luck.
