To begin with I thought it was just my imagination, but I went thru my own personal database for GA relatives and was able to find every one that died in GA except those that died in the 1940's. I doubt I will get an answer but I did send a message to Ancestry.com to ask them more about the source for the database and see what the trouble could be. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Edie

    3. I have found that there are many, many of my names missing from this database. And it is not just the 1940's. It seems to be scattered throughout up to the 1950's. However, you must be careful to search using the proper search arguments. You may have thought that a person died is a particular county when, in fact, they died in another county (probably in a hospital). I saw people with a south GA residence who died in Fulton County.
