Looking for any information on Harrison surname living in Cobb & Fulton Co's. between 1840 & 1860. V.W. Harrison b. abt. 1810 S.C. living in Cobb Co. for the 1850 cunsus but indexed as N. K. Harrisnon. Harrison, N. K. Marietta District, Cobb, GA Although the index indicates N. K Harrison, after looking at the actual census image it appears very clearly to me to be V. W. Harrison. W.), 40, m, carpenter, SC Mary, 18, f, GA Eliza, 16, f, SC Joseph W., 13, m, GA Ruebin B., 12, m, GA George W., 10, m, GA Emily C., 7, f, GA Elizabeth B., 5, f, GA Two things are interesting here. One is that Eliza was b. in SC, as opposed to daughter(?) Mary born earlier in GA and Eliza is the only one b. SC other than the father.
