This next week I will be visiting the Atlanta, Marietta area not only sightseeing the Civil War battles but doing some family research nd would like a good place to plant myself for half a day. I know there is a Historical Society with a genealogy room around Marietta some place and there might be another archive place. Just wonder if someone might send me addresses and phone numbers of your local societies for research and civil war information that would include where civil war participants might be listed buried around that area, please.
