I am searching for my ggg-grandfather's information. His name is Thomas Kirk, b. 1820 in Ga. He married a Sarah (Sallie) Cobb sometime in 1840-42. They had one daughter, Melissa Kirk born after 1850. My ggg-grandfather died sometime between 1860-1870. Apparently from the war. I found Sarah and Melissa Kirk as a boarder in 1880, Atlanta Ga and that is the last i have been able to go back. Most of my family is from Roswell, GA. If you can shed some light on what happened to them and possible where Sarah is buried? Any information will be appreciated, Thanks. klillie@yatesins.com
