Hello Cobb Co. researchers, My name is Sheila (CONINE) FORESTER. I am researcing the CONINE/BROWN/JORDAN surnames. I am interested in seeing if anyone can help me. I am looking for the family of Susan (CONINE) BROWN. Susan CONINE was born abt 1829 to Richard and Martha (BOON) CONINE of Putnam Co. GA. About 1849 Susan married Robert BROWN. Robert was born 22 Jul 1825, (place of birth unknown) to Sally CLAY and Hiram BROWN. I believe Hiram BROWN lived most of his life in Cobb Co. GA., in fact I think he's buried in Cobb Co. GA. Robert and Susan (CONINE) BROWN had the following children. 1. Mary Ann BROWN, b 1849 m Alfred P. TUCKER 2. Hiram Richard BROWN, b 1851, m Belinda JORDAN, 2nd Savannah Bartow PITTMAN 3. Henry Clay BROWN, m Emma COX 4. Sarah J. "Sallie" BROWN m. M. Berryman LYLE 5. William Marion BROWN, m Lucy Jane THOMPSON 6. Martha Elizabeth BROWN, b abt 1859 7. Susan Ellen BROWN, m ? REICE 8. Robert Joseph BROWN I am hoping that someone can furnish information on this particular line of the BROWN family. As you can see, there are eight children born to Robert and Susan BROWN, surely there are some descendants of theirs out there some where.
