Hello everyone, I'm a brand new subscriber. I'm looking for Baldwins in Cobb County. Specifically Hartwell Baldwin, who was born ca. 1835 in Smyrna, was a first sergeant in the Ga. Militia ("Joe Brown's Pets"). After the war he was Sheriff of Cobb County, apparently for quite some time. He had several children, among whom was Alfred P. Baldwin, my great grandfather. I am looking for any info you all might have about Hartwell. There should be quite a bit since he was Sheriff... I'm also looking for the Collins Springs Primitive Church, which was in Smyrna.
