He died of the measles, in the Civil War, at the age of 38, at Murfreesboro, TN. Rebecca Powers was the daughter of John and Leticia Powers of Newnan, GA? Benjamin Franklin Hawkins was the son of James T. Hawkins and Elizabeth Cobb. This is all the information I have regarding my Powers/Hawkins/Cobb line. Are my relatives any of your Powers?
