Lee M. Cooke and Jennie L. Badgett were married May 26, 1889 in Cobb County by a Justice of the Peace named Rutherford. On July 3, 1894 Jennie gave birth to Walter Newport Cook(e). By the time Walter married in 1918 both Lee and Jennie were dead. Request a look-up of the 1900 adn 1910 federal census of Cobb County for the family of Lee, Jennie and Walter (perhaps other children unknown) for details about where they lived, his occupation, where their parents were born, etc. Lee and Jennie were my great grandparents and I've only recently uncovered the place and date of their marriage.
